Author: Rick Riordan

Summary:  Jason wakes up on a bus, with no memory at all, except his name. It turns out that he is a demigod, son of Jupiter. A trapped goddess has stolen his memories, and Jason and his friends must save the goddess to restore Jason's memory. A big threat is lurking under the ground, and it’s related to Jason's magical amnesia. He and his friends Piper, daughter of Aphrodite, and Leo, son of Hephaestus.

Review: This book was very interesting and suspenseful. It kept me on the edge of my seat. For example, their magic dragon, fails, and they almost fall off. Another example is when they get trapped inside a magic department store. Some parts I didn’t like, because it got a little boring. I would recommend this book to ages 11 and up, and kids who like greek mythology.
