Summary: The School for Good and Evil is a legendary school where fairy tale villains and fairy godmothers teach ordinary children and train them to become real villains and heroes. Each year a shadow kidnaps a child who is evil and a child who is good and brings them to the school. Sophie thinks she would be the perfect storybook princess with her lush golden hair, emerald eyes, and strive to do good things. Meanwhile, her friend Agatha hopes she will be a witch, which she thinks is fitting, with her hideous black clump of hair, oliy black dress, and dislike of, well, everybody. But when they are kidnapped they find themselves in the opposite school as they thought. At first, they want to trade schools or go home, but they learn that the only way to get out is to live through a fairy tale.

Review: I loved this book for many reasons. The story plot is engaging and keeps you on the edge of your seat since you never know what is going to happen next. I also like it because of the tight conflicts between the characters, as one moment their best friends,  the next their enemies in a miny war. There are many plot twists and clever ideas. I also like the spells they get to learn, which are creative. I would recommend this book for ages 12 and up and kids who like books that have magical elements.
